Tom Switzer is executive director at the Centre for Independent Studies, a Sydney-based public-policy research organisation. He has previously worked at ABC’s Radio National (2014-23), the University of Sydney’s United States Studies Centre (2009-17), The Australian (2001-08), the Australian Financial Review (1998-01) and the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC (1995-98).  

He has been published in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and the Washington Post.
